Videos for Personal Injury Attorneys – London Harker

In the last few months VidVictory had a bit of a shakeup in our client list. For years one of our biggest verticals was making videos for home services companies. But starting this year we suddenly had the chance to work create lots of videos for personal injury attorneys.

One of our favorite clients in this area has been Kurt London with the London Harker law firm. Kurt had a story that he wanted to tell about his own experience dealing with the aftermath of a pretty terrifying accident. The lack of support from his insurance created serious problems for him. Not having an attorney on his side also created problems for him.

Why are videos for personal injury attorneys so important?

There are thousands of personal injury firms across the country. There are so many that could probably handle most cases very well, but how can someone choose which firm is right for them? Kurt’s story is a great example of why video is so important. He shows his clients that he understands not only the relevant laws but also what they are experiencing emotionally. This short video allows him to connect with potential clients in a much more personal way.

Professional competence is considered a baseline requirement when hiring a professional. The more important questions are; “Will they understand what I am going through?” “ Will I enjoy my experience working with them?” And perhaps most importantly, “Do I trust them to get the best outcome for me?”.

A video can shortcut the process of a client feeling like a firm will be right for them.

What goes into a video for a personal injury attorney?

Many PI attorneys have a tendency to want to focus on their professional accolades and their prowess. The second things they focus on is the amounts of money they have won for past clients. These things should of course be mentioned, but as I mentioned before these are baseline expectations. Any client who walks in the door so to speak will be expecting a firm to have all of that. What I often see neglected in these videos for personal injury attorneys is a much more emotional human element.

We often focus on testimonials for this reason, but these aren’t your standard “they did a good job” testimonials. These are testimonials with some power, testimonials that dig into the lives of the clients and help prospective clients see how great a firm is.
